Delete your StarzClub account
Two ways to do it. The first takes about ten seconds.
In the app
- Open StarzClub and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Under Account, tap Delete my account.
- Enter your PIN, type DELETE to confirm, and tap the button.
The account is closed straight away. There is no waiting period and no email to confirm.
If you cannot get into the app
Lost the phone, forgotten the PIN, or already uninstalled it? Ask us and we will close it for you. Send the phone number the account is under — that is all we need to find it — and we will confirm once it is done, normally within a few working days.
What is removed
- Your name, phone number and PIN
- Every saved address, including any coordinates
- Your saved items
- Your Starz Points balance and its whole history
- Your notification registrations on every device
- Your name from any review you left — the stars and the words stay, because they are about the food
What is kept, and why
Past orders stay in the shop's accounting records, because a business has to be able to account for its sales. Your name, phone number, address and coordinates are stripped out of them at the moment you delete the account, so what remains is a basket, a total and a date, and it is no longer about you. The privacy page says the same thing in the same words.
