How StarzClub handles what you tell it. Last updated 27 August 2026.

StarzClub is the ordering app for Cold Stone Creamery, Waccao and Poulet & Pizza in Cameroon, operated by Dee-Lite Global. This page explains what the app collects, why it needs it, how long it is kept, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What the app collects

• Your name and phone number. The number is your account. The rider needs it to call you when they are outside.
• Your delivery address — the district, the street, the landmark you describe, and, if you tap "use my location", the coordinates your phone reports. Coordinates are used to work out the delivery fee and to show the rider where to go.
• Your PIN, stored only as a scrambled value that cannot be turned back into the PIN. Nobody at the shop can read it.
• Your orders — what you ordered, what it cost, how you chose to pay, any note you left, and the times each stage happened.
• Your Starz Points and the record of how you earned and spent them.
• Reviews you write, including the stars and the words.
• Basic details about the device you ordered from — whether it was a phone or a computer, iOS or Android, whether you had the app installed, and which language you read the app in. This is counted, not tracked: it tells the shop that most orders come from Android phones in French. It is not linked to an advertising profile, because there is no advertising.
• A notification token, if you allow notifications, so the app can tell you when your order is on the way.
• Your Apple account identifier and email, only if you choose Sign in with Apple.

What it does not collect

StarzClub has no advertising and no advertising identifier. It does not track you across other apps or websites, does not sell or share your details with data brokers or advertisers, and does not read your contacts, photos, calendar or messages. It does not follow your location in the background — location is read only in the moment you ask it to, while the app is open in front of you.

Card and mobile-money details

StarzClub does not store card numbers or mobile-money PINs. Where an online payment is offered, it is handled by the payment provider on their own page, and the app is told only whether the payment succeeded and a reference for it.

Who can see it

Your order is visible to the shop staff who have to prepare it and the rider who has to deliver it. Nobody else. It is not shared with any other company for their own purposes. It is held on servers run by our hosting provider on our behalf, and disclosed further only if the law requires it.

How long it is kept

• Your account is kept for as long as you have one.
• Orders are kept as the business's own accounting records. When you delete your account these are not destroyed, but your name, number, address and coordinates are removed from them, so what is left is a basket, a total and a date. This is the one thing we keep, we keep it because a business must be able to account for its sales, and we do not keep it in a form that identifies you.
• Notification tokens are removed when you turn notifications off or delete your account.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings → Delete my account. It takes effect immediately. You can also ask us to do it for you — see starzclub.net/delete, which explains both routes and exactly what is removed.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
• Correct your name or address in the app at any time; ask us to change your phone number, since it is the account itself.
• Turn notifications off in the app, or in your phone's own settings.
• Order as a guest without creating an account at all.

Children

StarzClub is meant for people old enough to place and pay for an order. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it and the app will say so.
